Highland Springs, Virginia caught up with Fork Union Head Coach John Shuman to get the latest on the Fork Union standout. Reevey has had visits from Clemson Head Coach Tommy Bowden, Pittsburgh Head Coach Walt Harris and the coaching staff from West Virginia this week.

The Tigers are the leader according to Coach Shuman as Maurice prepares for his official visit to Virginia Tech. "Clemson is his leader right now. I would say Pittsburgh is second with West Virginia third with Virginia Tech coming on quickly," said Shuman.

The 6-4, 200 pound linebacker will travel to Blacksburg this weekend for his final official visit. "He will take his boards on Saturday and then it's up to Virginia Tech," added the Fork Union coach.

Reevey will then travel home for winter break later this month where he plans to discuss his big decision with his former High School coach and his parents.

"Maurice will definitely catch up with his former coach and sit down with his parents to discuss the situation over winter break," stated Coach Shuman in an interview with Thursday evening.

The battle for the Fork Union standout may not be decided until very close to signing day. "This thing looks like it's going to go down to the end. I don't expect a decision until close to signing day."
