WR Sinclair Cannon
6-3, 190, 4.5
Greer High School
Greer, South Carolina
The 6-3, 190 pound prospect took his final official visit to Clemson this weekend. "It went nicely. The weather delayed my return," said Cannon in an interview with CUTigers.com earlier today. "I just got home around 3:00 today."
What did cannon do during his extended stay in Tiger Town?
"I just chilled and watched television. I hung around with Sergio." Cannon spent a good bit of the weekend with his good friend Sergio Gilliam, as Sergio was his host for the weekend.
The highlight of the weekend for the talented athlete was found in a surprising place. "The highlight was playing golf on Saturday. I played with Sergio."
When asked if he was still firm with Tennessee after the visit, Cannon responded, "I'm still firm with Tennessee. It's pretty much a done deal at this point."
The recruiting process for the Greer standout may end tonight when he speaks with Coach Blackwell. "Coach Blackwell is supposed to call me later on tonight. He wants to know if he should bring Coach Bowden by for a visit later this week. I am going to tell him that is not needed. I am firm with Tennessee and I don't want to waste his time."
We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding athlete from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2004.
