Barry, who was hosted by fullback Cliff Harrell this weekend, is expected to play as a tight end in college.

"I talked to Coach Bowden earlier today and told him I wanted to come to Clemson," said Barry. "I'm just glad it's over. It releaves a lot of stress for me."

The low country stand out brought in 66 catches for 1126 yards and 11 touchdowns during his senior year.

Barry may be a sign and place candidate, but still is in position to qualify. If that ends up being the case, he'll likely be headed to Fork Union Military Academy this fall. He currently has the necessary test score, but is a few points short on his GPA.

"Either way I'm looking forward to it," Barry added. "Coach Bowden was real excited when I decided to commit. The visit went great, I'm just glad I've already made the decision."

Barry chose the Tigers over Louisville, and will probably not take a scheduled visit to see the Cardinals next weekend.
