The 6-3, 265 pound defender traveled to Greensboro, North Carolina to visit North Carolina A&T over the weekend. "It went pretty nice," said Jackson in an interview with CUTigers.com. "I like the community and the people around the school."

When asked if he was getting closer to a decision, Jackson responded, "Not really. In a way I am and in way I'm not."

The decision for Jackson is made more difficult because he is unsure if he will qualify for Division 1-A.

"I really don't want to go to junior college. I will if I have to but I would prefer not to. I could go the safe route and commit to A&T or I can take the risk and commit to Clemson. I want know more about my status until late February."

Jackson will take his final official visit this weekend. "I am going to Winston-Salem State this weekend," stated the talented prospect.

The Shrine Bowl defensive tackle will probably not make his final decision until very close to signing day. "It will be close to signing day. It may be the day before."

We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding defensive tackle from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2004.
