Greenville LB Alex Pearson committed to the Tigers earlier this month during his official visit to Clemson. Pending available scholarship numbers, he may be forced to enroll in January of 2005.

The Greenville native is planning to work hard in preparation for his upcoming college career. "I will probably work out about 3 days a week," told CUTigers.com. "I'll be doing lots of running, and working out, things like that."

Pearson will find out later on whether or not he'll enroll this August, or if he'll have to wait until January of 2005. Either way, he's more than fine with his decision to pledge his verbal commitment to the Clemson Tigers.

"Either way is fine with me," added Pearson.
