The Clemson offensive line commitment hit the hardwood tonight instead of the football field and he had a good friend in attendance. 4-star Fork Union linebacker Maurice Reevey was home for winter break this weekend. "I was just playing a basketball game tonight and Maurice was there. He wouldn't say anything but he just kept smiling." For the record, Willis pulled down an impressive 15 rebounds in tonight's 30 point victory.

When asked where he thought Reevey would play next season, Willis responded, "I am almost certain he will end up at Clemson."

Have the two former teammates discussed playing together again next season? "We are great friends. We have talked a little bit about it."

Willis made an early commitment to the Tigers so he missed a lot of the pressures that some other recruits face. "I am very happy I made it early. I wanted to get this process over quickly. I just want to get on the field as soon as I can."

We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding offensive lineman from Virginia, right up through signing day 2004.
