TE Durrell Barry
6-6, 245, 4.8
Ft. Dorchester High School
St. George, South Carolina
The 6-5, 245 pound prospect took his final official visit to the University of Louisville this weekend. "It went okay," stated Barry.
When asked if he had a final decision, Barry responded, "Not yet. I am going to go see my coach and talk with him this afternoon. We'll go from there."
Barry was all but committed to the Tigers before the visit. Did the visit pull the Cardinals even with the Tigers? "Louisville made up a little ground. It's the other things that I need to talk with my coach about."
The talented tight end expects to have a decision soon. "I expect to have a decision today. I just need to talk with my coach first."
The low country standout brought in 66 catches for 1126 yards and 11 touchdowns during his senior year, and was hosted by fullback Cliff Harrell on his official visit to Clemson last weekend.
Barry's decision could come down to academics and the different options that may or may not be available for him at both schools. We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding tight end from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2004.
