CB Lines Up Two Visits

CB Demario Minter of Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia has lined up two official visits so far. It looks like Clemson is also getting serious consideration from this fine prospect.

"So far, I will visit Georgia (1-11) and North Carolina (1-18)," said cornerback Demario Minter. "I also plan on visiting Clemson and Maryland. Auburn and Georgia Tech will have to fight for the last visit."

Minter, from Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson High School, has 50 tackles and 3 interceptions on the season. He is considered to be one of the south's top cover corners.

Minter is listed 5'11, 180 lbs and has been clocked right at 4.4 in the 40-yard dash. He is described as an athlete with speed to burn; he has great cover skills and can easily shutdown the opponent's best receiver. He also has a great vertical leap of 37 inches, so he can go up and compete with taller recievers. (Wouldn't that have been helpful for the Tigers this year in some key moments?)

Demario, out of Stone Mountain, Georgia's Stevenson High School is a teammate of DE prospect Brandon Cannon.
