Decision Expected Later Today

Clemson and North Carolina State will have to wait until late this afternoon or tonight for a decision from Alabama defensive end Jacquez McKissic. caught up with Opelika High School Coach Spence McKracken to get the latest.

The 6-7, 250-pound prospect will be playing in the Atlantic Coach Conference, but the question is will it be for the Tigers or the Wolfpack? Clemson held the lead late last week, but an official visit to North Carolina State over the weekend pulled the Pack even.

McKissic discussed his decision with his head coach earlier this morning, but he is still not ready to make a final decision.

"He will be making his mind up later this afternoon or tonight," said Coach Spence McKracken in an interview with "It will be North Carolina State or Clemson but he's not sure yet."

"We have a home basketball game later tonight. I believe he will have a decision by then."

In addition, Coach McKracken said that Clemson has moved in on McKissic's teammate, cornerback Jeremy Gray.
