CUTigers.com caught up with the former 4-star offensive lineman to get the scoop on where he will be playing next season.
Benedict has discussed his situation for several weeks with the coaching staff at Clemson, but it looks like he will be playing football elsewhere. "Things just didn't work out with Clemson," said Benedict in an interview with CUTigers.com.
"I talked with the coaches last week and it was apparent that things weren't going to work at Clemson."
When asked where he believes he will play next season, Benedict responded, "I will likely end up at Wofford, Furman or Georgia Southern. I am not sure at this point."
Benedict orginally signed with Tennessee before deciding to transfer. He redshirted his freshman year but was not a member of the team for the 2003 season.
