Clemson recruiting coordinator David Blackwell is quickly becoming known for recruiting "jumbo athletes" that can play multiple positions.

By all accounts, North Carolina native Everette Brown fits the bill.

As a junior at Beddingfield High School, Brown registered 110 tackles and eight sacks on defense to go along with 24 catches for 400 yards on offense.

Brown actually played middle linebacker as a junior because teams ran away from him at defensive end the previous two years. He also has soft hands on offense, and most experts are predicting that will make him a hot commodity.

"Everette is able to play on either side of the ball," said his head coach, Tom Nelson. "We played him as a defensive end his first two years, and at inside linebacker in our 4-4 because teams would run away from him."

Brown is also great in pursuit at the high school level, and that could really become an asset in college.

Clemson, Duke, NC State, Nebraska, North Carolina are his current favorites, with Duke already moving in with a scholarship offer.
