"What a game," said defensive tackle Ramon McCollough (6'2, 300), referring to the Michigan/Michigan State game last Saturday.
"It was just a great game. I enjoyed the football atmosphere. I also spent some time with Coach (Bobby) Williams."
McCollough, from Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland High School, officially visited Michigan State this past weekend. He also likes Florida, Clemson, Miami and Georgia Tech. McCollough, 6-2 and 295 pounds, is one of the top defensive tackles from the state of Florida.
Last season, he recorded almost 90 tackles (9 for a loss), forced 4 fumbles, and scored a defensive touchdown from his defensive tackle position.
Ramon has stated that early playing time could be one of the biggest factors in his final decision.
