RB Rod Fluellen
5-7, 190, 4.5
Richland-Northeast High School
Columbia, South Carolina
In addition to his responsibilities of carrying his team next season, the 5-9 180-pounder must also handle his recruitment.
"I don't have any offers but I got a lot of questionnaires in the mail and Clemson invited me to their Junior Day this Saturday," Fluellen said.
Along with Clemson, Georgia, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Army, and Wake Forest are giving Fluellen the most attention. He also has narrow things down a bit.
"I have a top five: Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Georgia and Georgia Tech," stated Fluellen. "All those schools are pretty equal with none above the others."
Fluellen plans to wait to see what options present itself before finalizing on a school. Location will play a major role in his decision process.
"Location is important to me," Fluellen said. "I don't mind going out of state, but I want to kind of stay on the south side."
Fluellen has been to South Carolina unofficially, and will take Clemson up on their offer to attend Junior Day. He plans to camp at a few schools during the summer as well. We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding running back from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2005.
