LB Dan Foster
6-2, 215, 4.6
Early County High School
Blakely, Georgia

Dan Foster, a 6-2, 215-pound prospect out of Blakely, Georgia, does not have any offers at this point in the recruiting process, but that will likely change during the May evaluation period.

Foster was unable to finish his junior season because of a broken leg but his numbers were still quite impressive. On the season, he recorded 76 tackles, 14 tackles for loss and 4 sacks.

On the recruiting front, Foster is hearing from just about every major school in the south.

"I am hearing from Tennessee, South Carolina, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Auburn, LSU, Maryland, Georgia Tech, Air Force, Clemson and Texas," said Foster in a recent interview with

There's little doubt that he has all the physical skills to excel at the collegiate level, however that may not be his greatest strength. He's also a guy that enjoys a little work in the film room.

"I am really a student of the game," said Foster. "I like to study a lot of film. I can see the play before it happens."

Foster also said that he has been focused on several offseason goals before the start of his senior season. "I want to work even harder this year. I feel like I am pretty athletic but I want to work hard in the weight room. I want to get bigger and stronger every day."

Foster would also like to wait until late in the recruiting process to make his decision. "I will probably wait until late in the process. I will take all of my visits and check out the schools first. I want to get a lot of information before I make my decision."

Foster finally added that he is going to try and attend both Georgia's and Tennessee's upcoming junior days.
