OL to Visit Clemson

Stephon Heyer is an offensive line prospect from Snellville (Ga.) Brookwood High School that is quickly becoming a hot commodity in the college football recruiting wars. The 6-6 and 275 pound offensive tackle prospect has scholarship offers. Is he close to a decision?

"Michigan, Georgia, Clemson, Arkansas, Kentucky and Louisville have all given me verbal offers," said Heyer. "Michigan is my leader and I will visit them on November 24th for an official trip. I went up there in the spring and I really got a good feel for the school. I got to see some things like their facilities, stadium and met some coaches. I really like Coach (Lloyd) Carr. He offered me a scholarship over the phone."

Heyer has also set up official visits to Georgia and Clemson in January.

"I will base my decision on the coaching staff and who can help me play on Sundays. That would be nice."

Heyer considers himself more of a run blocker at this point. He plays on a team that loves to play power football.

"I move my feet well and I stay low."
