RB Bobby Wallace
5-9, 185, 4.5
Conway High School
Conway, South Carolina
The 5-9, 180 pound sparkplug is getting plenty of attention from some of the top programs in the southeast. "Florida State, Georgia, Clemson, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Iowa and Marshall are all showing interest right now," said Wallace in a recent interview with CUTigers.com.
The Tigers got their chance to impress the Conway star when he visited Clemson for Junior Day.
"I went to Clemson for Junior Day. It was pretty good. I talked with Coach Bowden a little bit," said the star running back.
Wallace plans to travel to Columbia next weekend to attend Junior Day activities at the University of South Carolina, but three schools have emerged as the early leaders for the South Carolina standout.
"I'm kind of looking at Clemson, South Carolina and Florida State right now."
When asked which school is recruiting him the hardest at this point, Wallace responded, "Georgia is recruiting me the hardest right now."
Wallace is already thinking about the factors he will consider when deciding where to play college football. "I will be looking to see how the facilities are. I will want to see how the students are. I'd like to major in engineering or computer technology," Wallace added.
The Conway standout rushed 277 times for 2128 yards and 6 touchdowns last year as a junior. He also caught 10 passes for 271 yards and 5 more scores.
Coach Dabo Swinney is recruiting the Conway athlete for the Tigers.
We will continue keep you updated on this outstanding athlete from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2005.
