WR Eric Huggins
6-3, 185, 4.4
Conway High School
Conway, South Carolina
According to Conway assistant Coach Palisin, Eric Huggins has picked up his second scholarship offer.
"I talked to the recruiting coordinator at Auburn today and he said that he has sent an official offer from Auburn University to Eric Huggins."
Huggins, who was first offered by Clemson earlier this month, caught 52 passes for 932 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior.
"Coach Swinney is my recruiter with Clemson," Huggins told CUTigers.com earlier this week. "He sends me a lot of mail. Clemson is recruiting me the hardest right now."
Huggins is one of several big time wide receivers that should draw Division I-A interest this year. Others to keep an eye on are Marlboro County's Rendrick Taylor, North Augusta's C.J. Byrd, Byrnes' Reynaldo Hunter
We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding receiver from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2005.
