The 5-10, 185 pound prospect had a very impressive junior campaign. "I rushed for 967 yards and I had 710 yards receiving. I scored 25 touchdowns last season," said Dixon in a recent interview with CUTigers.com.

"Duke, Carolina, State, Michigan, Nebraska, Wake, Clemson and East Carolina are showing interest right now."

Duke and East Carolina are the first to offer the talented athlete. Duke is recruiting Dixon as a running back while East Carolina is recruiting the prize recruit as a defensive back.

When asked if he has any early favorites, Dixon responded, "It really doesn't matter. Any place I go I'll play. I've always wanted to be a Tarheel."

"I'm doing good with my weights. My biggest strength is my speed and my jumping ability." The Tabor City standout plans to work hard on in the weight room and the classroom to prepare for his senior year. "I'm just planning on working in the weight room. I want to gain a little more weight. I'm also working hard in school."

Dixon has attended several Junior Days this spring and he has one more on the schedule. "I have been to East Carolina and North Carolina State. I'm going to Carolina on Saturday."
