North Carolina OL Taking His Time

A few weeks ago rumors swirled that Julian Williams was close to making a decision, now the 6-4, 275, OT from New Bern (N.C.) says making an early commitment is the furthest thing from his mind.

"I'd like to go through the whole process and take my visits and see how it goes," said Williams.

Julian favors North Carolina St (only offer) slightly over North Carolina, Clemson, Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee and Virginia Tech. "I really like the ACC and SEC. North Carolina St is number one because they've offered, but I still have a lot of time.

"But I do like everything about North Carolina State. The facilities are perfect and they have everything you need. I really like their coaches too."

Julian already attended the Wolfpack JR Day and says he likes that they are only about two hours away. "I'd like to stay within a few hours of home."

"I never really followed a school growing up. I just liked college football. I want to find a school where I'll be able to play early. I also want to fit in with the coaches. I like coaches that are hard on you, but understanding and are there for you when you need them."

Julian benches 335, squats 455 and has a VJ of 26. "I'm good at run and pass blocking. I'm very focused and determined. I run good and have good upper body strength. I want to improve my athleticism and vertical jump (26)."
