"I was offered by Clemson this weekend," Austin told CUTigers.com in an interview on Monday. The Tigers join South Carolina and Vanderbilt on the offer list for the prize recruit.

The 6-4, 270 pound prospect enjoyed his visit to Tiger Town on Saturday. "I loved it. It's beautiful at Clemson. I love the campus. I also like the coaching staff."

"I went with my family. They like it at Clemson. My sister almost went to Clemson a few years back. My parents have always liked the campus."

Austin spent time speaking with several members of the Tigers' coaching staff during his visit. "I talked with Coach Brad Scott and Coach Bowden. Coach Scott said I would probably be moved inside to guard or center based on my height."

"Clemson is definitely one of my leaders. Along with South Carolina, Vanderbilt and Auburn."

The Camden High star is already making his summer camp plans.

"I'm trying to schedule some camps. I am going to the 3 day camp at Clemson. I would like to hit the one day camps and Vanderbilt, South Carolina and possibly Auburn," said Austin.

Academics should not be an issue for Austin who carries a 3.4 GPA. We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding offensive lineman from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2005.
