Gordon to Camp at Clemson

Brookland-Cayce defensive tackle Cedrick Gordon has several schools looking at him right now, but he is taking plenty of time in looking back at them. "So far, I'm going to the USC and Clemson camps. I haven't given the others enough thought yet," said Gordon.

"I am hearing from South Carolina, Clemson, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and NC State," says the 6-foot-3, 290 pounder.

"I like all the schools, but I don't have any particular favorites. I have not heard anything from them about offers. I'm looking for a good team, some good coaches, and if it's a good school and playing time."

Gordon hopes to make a good impression at the upcoming camps in order to receive those offers. Right now, he plans to attend two camps.

"So far, I'm going to the USC and Clemson camps. I haven't given the others enough thought yet; I wouldn't mind taking more camps."

For Clemson, assistant head coach Brad Scott is recruiting Gordon and teammates Vincent Scott and Corleon Brown for the Tigers.

Gordon had an outstanding junior season for his team, registering 76 tackles, 32 unassisted and 3 tackles for loss. We will continue to keep you updated on Cedrick Gordon, right up through signing day 2005.
