Dudley OL Listing the Tigers

Greensboro (N.C.) Dudley is doing it again. Last year this time, Dudley high school was home to the nations best DL and N.C. State signee, Demario Pressley, four-star RB and Florida State signee Jamaal Edwards and UNC signee DB Martel Thatch.

This year the Panthers' senior class will not reach the star power last year's crew did, but it could possess up to four Division I-A prospects. Pressley's former line mate, Dominique Midgett, cut the tape by becoming the first in his class to be tendered an offer.

"I have two offers so far, Duke and Vanderbilt," stated Midgett. "Georgia, Clemson, Virginia, and (North) Carolina are showing me interest also."

Unlike most of his peers, the 6-foot-2 230-pounder does not want his recruitment to drag out. Midgett plans to see how things go and hopes to decide before his senior season begins.

"I might decide early it depends what I do at the Nike Camp," remarked Midgett who plans to attend the Nike Combine held in Charlottesville. "Depending on what offers come in next, I would like to decide before the season so I don't have it on my mind."

With the hopes to commitment early, it only makes sense for Midgett to have a well-developed leaders list, which he does. There are also a few schools the ball hawk would like to add to his offers sheet.

"My top five is Georgia, I really want to attend the University of Florida but they haven't sent anything yet, University of Virginia, then Duke, and Clemson in that order. I like Georgia first because I have liked them since I was little."

Midgett plays defensive end for Dudley and projects as a linebacker at the collegiate level. To help the transition, Dudley's coaching staff has decided to move Midgett to middle linebacker for his senior year.
