Leake Signs with the Titans

Former Clemson linebacker John Leake signed with the Tennessee Titans late last night as a undrafted free agent. Leake finished his senior year in Clemson with 131 total tackles, including 3 sacks and an interception.

Leake also received heavy interest from Dallas, Tampa Bay, and the New York Giants before signing with Tennessee.

"We are really excited for him," said John's mother on Monday. "I know he is disappointed that he did not get drafted, but that's that. He has always had to prove himself at every level and he will on this one."

Leake will leave Thursday for the Titans' first mini-camp.

William Henry, Kevin Youngblood, Khaleed Vaughn have also inked deals as undrafted free agents. Greg Walker has reportedly signed on with Detroit but that has yet to be confirmed, while Henry and Youngblood have signed on with the Atlanta Falcons, and Vaughn with the Giants.

Former Tigers Derrick Hamilton and Donnell Washington are also on their way to their respective new teams. Hamilton and Washington were taken by San Francisco and Green Bay respectively in the 3rd round of the NFL Draft last weekend.
