Interest Growing for North Carolina LB

The 6-1, 220 pound prospect continues to await his first offer but some of the top programs around the southeast are showing heavy interest. "North Carolina State, Miami, Clemson, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Nebraska are all showing interest," Kidd told CUTigers.com in a recent interview.

When asked if he has any early favorites, Kidd responded, "It doesn't matter to me. I just want to go have fun and play ball."

The Freedom High standout visited several programs for spring practices to see what the schools had to offer. "I went to Clemson, North Carolina State, Georgia and Virginia Tech," stated Kidd.

Kidd is being recruited as a linebacker but he will get a chance to showcase his skills in the backfield this year. "I'm working hard in the weight room. I'm running as well. I am going to running back practice right now. They are going to let me run some next year. I'm trying to learn the plays."

Kidd already knows which schools will be on the summer camp tour. "I want to visit all of them. I am going to Clemson, State, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia Tech."

What will the North Carolina defender consider as his decides where he will attend college? "I will look at the football program. I want to find a place where I can live for 4 years. I want to have fun and get a good education."
