Brookland-Cayce LB Still Likes Clemson

Brookland-Cayce standout Vincent Scott is still waiting on his first offer but the talented linebacker is getting plenty of attention from both Palmetto state powers. Who are the early favorites? CUTigers.com caught up with Scott and we've got the latest in this recruiting update.

The Tigers are Gamecocks are leading the battle for the services of this talented linebacker. "I don't have any offers yet but I'm getting lots of letters though," Scott told CUTigers.com in a recent interview. "I'm getting mail from Presbyterian, Clemson and South Carolina."

When asked if he has any early favorites, Scott responded, "I've liked Clemson for a while. I would like to visit some of the Florida schools possibly. Most of the people in my family like Florida or Florida State. I grew up in Pensacola."

The South Carolina defender traveled to Clemson earlier this spring to watch the Tigers practice. "I made it up for a practice. It was pretty good. It looked exciting. It gives you something to look forward to. I talked with Coach Brad Scott while I was up there."

What is Scott doing to prepare for his senior season at Brookland-Cayce? "I'm doing everything I can. Right now we are having spring practice. I'm doing the ankle weight thing."

Teammates Cedric Gordon and Corleon Brown are also getting attention from college recruiters. Have the trio talked about playing together on the collegiate level? "Not yet. I guess we're all waiting until that final decision comes."

Scott will be attending the Nike camp this Saturday. "I'm not sure where else I will go this summer. I am planning to go to a couple of camps but not sure which ones yet."
