NC Tight End Claims Clemson Offer

After posting a 4.78-second forty-yard dash time and a 4.63-second twenty-yard shuttle time at North Carolina's Shrine Bowl Combine, its no wonder Davie (N.C.) County tight end Ted Randolph has been fielding interest from nearby coaching staffs.

"I have been offered by [North] Carolina and Clemson," remarked Randolph. "I'm seeing interest from Virginia Tech and Tennessee, too."

Randolph did not participate in blocking drills, but he held his own in one-on-one passing drills where he displayed amazing quickness for a man of his size, while also showing commanding strength and the ability to shield defenders from the pass.

On the recruiting scene, Randolph proclaims all teams are equal in his mind and is reluctant to name a favorites list at this time. He does, however, plan to use a lengthy summer camping schedule to narrow things down before the season.

"I think I'm just going to go to the camp of all the interested schools," stated Randolph. "Virginia Tech, Clemson, Wake Forest, and Tennessee, and I think I'm going to go to [North] Carolina's camp, too."
