The constant flow of incoming offers continues for Laurinburg (N.C.) Scotland athletic quarterback Cameron Sexton. Another ACC school added its name to Sexton's pool of offers which already included East Carolina, UTEP, Syracuse, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech.

Florida State is the new school that has moved in with a formal scholarship offer.

"Coach [John] Lilly came down like 2 weeks ago," Sexton said. "He sent Coach [Daryl] Dickey, the QB coach last Friday to see me throw. He got up at 3:30 in Louisiana to get up here on his last recruiting day and he watched me throw and then he called today and offered."

The new offer has knocked Virginia Tech out of Sexton's leader position and has completely opened things up.

"Everything is still wide open now," stated Sexton. "But my favorites are Texas, Florida State, Virginia Tech, Miami and N.C. State, in no particular order."

Sexton plans to visit Clemson this weekend then head to Texas next weekend. The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder hopes to exit each visit holding offers from the two schools. Top Stories
