OL Trey Bailey
6-3, 270, 5.0
Byrnes High School
Spartanburg, South Carolina

"Wake Forest and Furman are the first to offer," Bailey told CUTigers.com in a recent interview. "Clemson, Cincinnati, Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech are all showing interest and have all come by spring practice."

The Tigers have not offered but Bailey hopes they will join the offer list soon. "Clemson is still sending encouraging letters. They are telling me to focus on grades and to work hard with my summer workouts."

The Tigers will get a chance to see the 6-3, 270 pound prospect in person this weekend at the one day mini-camp to be held in Clemson. "I'm going to Clemson on Saturday," stated Bailey. "I will also be going with my offensive line coach to the Furman camp. I'm also going to Wake Forest."

When asked if he has any early favorites, Bailey responded, "No sir. I just want to see what all I get."

Bailey plans to look at several factors to decide where to attend college. "I want to look at the atmosphere. I want to see if they are friendly. I will also look at the coaching staff and the team."

The Byrnes lineman is working hard to prepare for his senior season. "I've been staying in the weight room a lot. I also played baseball this season. I'm working to get stronger and faster."

Bailey hopes to lead Byrnes to another championship this season. "I think we can 3-peat. Everyone is working hard to get another ring. I will be one of the leaders this year. It's my turn to step-up and I want to make this team the best it can be."
