WR Eric Huggins
6-3, 185, 4.4
Conway High School
Conway, South Carolina
Conway wide receiver has been one of the hottest prospects throughout the May evaluation period and his offer total has reached 27 with more coming in daily. One of the nation's elite programs extended an offer to the talented prospect yesterday.
"Miami came by the school today and I asked their coach why they haven't sent me mail, and he said that's because he wanted to offer me in person," said Huggins. "That offer got my attention."
But did the Canes make Huggins current short list?
"They are in my top six, Oklahoma, Miami, Florida, Michigan, Tennessee, and Clemson are the teams I like. They are all throwing teams and they are all good academic schools."
So how does Huggins feel about the early stages of the recruiting process?
"It's been going real well. I haven't talked to a lot of coaches on the phone, just coaches from Oklahoma, Clemson, Michigan, and Ole Miss. It's been going real well so far."
Huggins does not plan to attend any camps this summer except for his team camp.
