With two new offers in hand from both South Carolina and Duke, Greenville defensive lineman Nathan Pepper has seen his stock rise steadily in the eyes of many schools this spring.

Does that mean he's finally starting to determine several favorites in the recruiting process?

According to him it doesn't.

"No favorites yet," said Pepper in a recent interview with "There isn't one team in particular."

Pepper missed the Tigers' one day camp this past weekend with a death in the family, but his summer schedule will be an extremely busy one, with plenty of stops a long the way.

"My team and I will be camping at Pittsburgh, Alabama, and Kentucky," said Pepper. "We will be attending the passing league and the lineman camps. As far as individual camps I'm not sure yet, but I know I will attend a few. But i do know i will be making an unofficial visit out to Duke with my family."

Pepper is being looked at by most schools strictly as a defensive end, but several have mentioned the possibility of moving back to middle linebacker.

"Most teams are recruiting me as a defensive end, but I have had a few conversations with me maybe moving to the middle linebacker spot on the collegiate level. That's a possition I've never played but I am willing to give it a shot."

Pepper added that he informed the Clemson coaching staff that he wouldn't be able to make it to the Tigers' one-day mini-camp ahead of time, and that he should be able to make it back to Clemson later this summer.
