5-foot-11, 185-pound prospect RB James Davis has 19 offers on the table, and the list continues to grow by the day. "I have 19 offers right now," said Davis in a recent interview with CUTigers.com. "I have offers from Clemson, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia Tech and many others."

Expect that list to grow as several other programs, including Oklahoma State and Georgia, are showing strong interest.

Who are the early favorites for the talented running back? "Clemson is one of my top three. They are probably one or two along with Tennessee and Alabama."

The Tigers got a chance to impress the Douglass High standout when he visited the one day camp at Clemson.

"I went to the one day camp at Clemson this weekend. It went well. I talked a lot with the coaches. I talked with Coach Bowden. I didn't participate or anything, I just talked with the coaches."

The summer camp tour will take the Georgia star all over the southeast. "I'm going to Georgia this weekend. I'm also going to Alabama on the 13th or 14th, and I'm going to Tennessee and Oklahoma State later in July."

Playing time will be very important to where Davis decides to attend college. "I am looking for playing time. I want to play as a freshman."

Coach Burton Burns is recruiting the speedster for the Tigers.
