Not too much has changed for one of the top running backs in the south, but one school, the home state Bulldogs, has come into the picture.

"I visited Georgia unofficially Sunday, and I really liked what I saw and what they had to offer," said Davis.

"At first, I didn't really have much interest in Georgia, but sitting down and talking with Coach Richt has really changed that. I know they have a lot of depth at running back and a lot of great players, but Coach Richt showed me the opportunity I had to play there."

With that said, Davis wasn't ready to name a true leader, but did name the schools that interest him the most.

"My top schools are Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech and LSU. I have high interest in all those."

What will Davis look for when making his decision?

"I will look mostly at playing time and academics."

Davis just returned from Clemson's one day camp this past weekend. He will also camp at Alabama June 19th and head to Oklahoma State's camp in July.

With impressive numbers from his junior season, I asked him what he thinks the strong and weak points are in his game...

"I would have to say my quickness and vision are my strengths and as for a weakness...I just want to improve my overall speed and explosiveness."

James Davis is sporting a 3.0 GPA and is awaiting the arrival of his first SAT score. He will also take the ACT this summer.

Davis is a member of the South Hot 100.
