Mullins (SC) offensive lineman Jamarcus Grant recently picked another scholarship offer from in-state college South Carolina. The 6-5, 330-pounder has attended two camps thus far this summer and he is nearing a decision.
R "I went to the Clemson and South Carolina mini-camps. I had a good time at both, but I liked Clemson's a little more. I went to South Carolina's camp on Saturday. It was pretty good."

The Gamecocks and Tigers are in a recruiting battle for the All-Region performer.

"I really like Clemson the most," Grant said. "I like everything about it there, the atmosphere, players, and coaches. I'm probably going to commit to them pretty soon."

Grant has no timeframe for his commitment just that he will announce his decision when the time is right.

"I might announce pretty soon or I might announce sometime before my season or after. I'm not sure right now."
