Brookland-Cayce Star Returns from Clemson

Gordon traveled to Clemson with teammate Corleon Brown to see what he could learn from the Tiger's coaching staff. "It was pretty good. I enjoyed it," said Gordon in a recent interview with "It was a lot of work. It was a good thing though."

The 6-foot-3, 290-pound defender spent a great deal of time over the three day period talking with the coaching staff. "I talked a lot with the coaches. Mostly with Coach Brad Scott."

"I am still waiting for my first offer. Clemson and Virginia are recruiting me the hardest right now."

When asked if he has any early favorites, Gordon responded, "I don't have any favorites right now."

Gordon looks forward to leading the Brookland-Cayce defense this season. "I'm lifting weights in the morning and playing basketball in the afternoon to get ready. I think we will be pretty good this year. I will be happy to be one of the leaders since it's my last year."

Where else does the powerful lineman plan to camp this summer? "I was planning on going to North Carolina State later this summer."
