Winston Salem, North Carolina
"I don't have any new offers right now," the 6-foot-1, 200 pound prospect told CUTigers.com in a recent interview. Wardlow already has offers from Clemson, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Duke and North Carolina.
Several other schools are showing interest and may join the competition for the Parkland standout. "North Carolina State, Michigan, Louisville and Marshall are showing a lot of interest," stated Wardlow.
When asked if he has any current favorites, Wardlow responded, "I'm wide open. I don't have any favorites. I'm pretty much wide open."
The summer camp tour has already included stops at Wake Forest and Carolina but the tour is not over. "I also plan to go to Georgia, North Carolina State and Virginia Tech later this summer," stated the prize recruit.
When does the talented athlete expect to make a decision? "I will probably try to do something early. I would like to make a commitment before the season starts."
Wardlow is thinking about how he will decide where to attend college. "I want to see where I feel comfortable around the coaches and players. Academics comes first. I would like to major in computer engineering."
We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding defensive back from North Carolina, right up through signing day 2005.
