Lakewood High School
Sumter, South Carolina
The offer list currently stands at 14 for the Lakewood High star and includes Clemson, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, Florida State, Auburn, Duke, North Carolina, North Carolina State among others.
When asked how he would compare the camps, Neal responded, "They were fun. It was some good competition. I had the most fun at Duke. I learned a lot at State and North Carolina."
The list of favorites changes frequently for the prize recruit. "They switch all the time. Right now it would be Virginia Tech, North Carolina State, Duke and Florida State."
Neal has already had a busy summer and he's not done camping yet. "I have been to North Carolina State, North Carolina and Duke. I will be going to Virginia Tech next weekend and then I'm done."
The next few months will be crucial for the programs battling for Neal. "I will probably make my decision in September," stated Neal.
Where would his family prefer that he play his college football? "They don't really care. They just want me to play somewhere on the east coast so they can see some games. It's my decision."
Neal looks to play both ways this season for Lakewood as a running back and a free safety. We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding athlete from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2005.
