"I'm probably getting the most mail from Clemson," says the 6-foot, 175-pounder with 4.5 speed. "They really liked me at their camp and I think they are the closest to offering me. The letters they send are basically saying that they really want me to come to play there."

Lewis has attended prospect camps at both Clemson and South Carolina.

"I had a real good time at both camps. I basically have fun doing anything that has to do with football. The coaches told me that I really stood out. The other players at the camps wanted to challenge me and see if they could get by me. I played pretty good."

Recruited primarily as a cornerback, Lewis has not narrowed down his list at this time.

"I'm pretty much open right now. I am not sure when I will decide because it depends on who offers me. I just want to take my time to decide which school is best for me in both football and academics."

Lewis does not plan to attend any more camps this summer. Stratford begins fall practice on July 29. Top Stories
