This year, Douglass High School is producing some of the top talent in Georgia and James Davis has seen his list of offers grow this summer. "I have been to Georgia, Clemson, Tennessee, and Alabama. I really liked the Clemson camp," said Davis.

"I have about forty offers now. I have just recently received a new offer from North Carolina," said Davis.

Davis has attended several camps and plans to make one more trip.

"I have been to Georgia, Clemson, Tennessee, and Alabama. I really liked the Clemson camp. The coaches, at all the camps, were really great. I will attend my last camp of the summer at Oklahoma State. I am not sure of the dates, but it is sometime this month," said Davis.

Due to a pulled hamstring, Davis was unable to do some drills at camps.

"I pulled my hamstring so I did not run the forty at any of the camps. I did bench press 185, 23 times," Davis said.

The star running back named three leaders among his favorites.

"My top three schools are Clemson, Tennessee, and Alabama."

Clemson- "I like the running backs coach. They need a running back to come in and play early."

Tennessee- "Seems like a good place to go. They have put several running backs in the NFL."

Alabama- "I like Coach Woods. They really need a running back. Last season, Alabama's running back ( Shaud Williams) led the SEC in rushing."

Davis has a top three, but he is looking at a few other schools.

"I am considering Georgia Tech, Georgia, Auburn, Oklahoma State, and LSU. It is all up for grabs right now. I will not know anything for sure until I take all of my visits," said Davis.
