Tuesday Morning Recruiting Updates

Updates on WR Kelvin Grant, DB Jeff Francouer, and WR Troy Williamson are contained in this report. All three players were involved in very big playoff games this past weekend- and all of them shined.

Jeff Francouer caught two touchdown passes, as he seemingly does every week, to help Parkview High School win its 27th consecutive game.

Francouer's 40-yard touchdown reception with 6 minutes left propelled #6 Parkview to a 24-21 win over Roswell.

Clemson, Georgia Tech, and Ole Miss are still Francouer's leaders, and he is set to visit all 3 schools officially in January.

Jeff finished the regular season with 4 interceptions, returning 1 for a touchdown, and 37 catches for almost 800 yards and 10 more scores.

WR Troy Williamson accounted for 189 of Silver Bluff's 407 yards and scored two touchdowns to help lead Silver Bluff to the Class 2A State Championship.

Williamson, one of the top athletes in the state, who is set to visit Clemson in January, currently favors the Gamecocks over the Tigers.

WR Kelvin Grant caught a 56-yard touchdown pass to help lead Camden to Class AAA State Championship over Union. Grant is set with an official visit to Clemson in January, and despite recent reports, still considers Clemson the team to beat in the recruiting process. South Carolina and Georgia Tech should be the two schools competing for his services.

Grant finished the season with 55 catches for almost 1,100 yards and 10 scores.

Also, talk of the Tigers cooling off of Travis Anderson are in fact true. Reportedly Anderson's 40-yard dash time and lack of consistency this season with a strong quarterback hurt his chances with the Tigers.
