Virginia Safety May Commit to Clemson Soon

Being only 39 yards short from owning the Midlothian (Va.) Manchester High School's career rushing record, Kavell Conner has spend very little of his summer days visiting college campuses like most of his peers.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder has been focus on his senior season figuring to shatter every possible school rushing record especially the aforementioned career mark.

"I'm just lifting weights and running," stated Connor during a recent interview. "I workout with my team and my uncle, he's my trainer."

The All-State Honorable Mention would love to have his college future squared away before his senior season kicks-off to avoid distraction. Despite interest coming from many schools, Clemson is the only school yet to offer and could be his future pledge if nothing changes by mid-August.

"I'm hearing from Clemson the most right now, they've offered me," remarked Connor, who will most likely play safety on the next level. "I'm still getting letters from WVU, Boston College, Marshall, Nebraska, schools like that."

The one and only unofficial visit Conner has taken this summer has been Clemson. He enjoyed his stay and was able to get a feel for the campus as well as for the Tigers' coaching staff.
