Tigers Get Big Commitment

Jerome Johnson, a 6-foot-8 power forward out of Maryland, is headed to the ACC. Sources confirmed on Saturday to TheInsiders.com that the Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy standout, had committed to Clemson and will play in the ACC next season.

Johnson is a native of Maryland and had been receiving high-major looks throughout the high school season. DePaul and Nebraska showed a lot of interest in him. Johnson, nicknamed "Stretch", is eligible to play for the Tigers this season.
