Tigers Make Top 5 with NC Cornerback

Having a brother enrolled there, Fayetteville (N.C.) Britt defensive back Brandon Ghee is quite familiar with the Wake Forest campus. However, to get his own feel for the football side of things the 6-foot, 175-pounder recently visited the Demon Deacons, unofficially.

"It went good, I liked it," remarked Ghee. "They took me on a tour of the campus and the football facilities and I met the coaches. It was nice."

Following the visit to Wake Forest, Ghee has now visited each of his offering schools and has developed a top five as promised.

"My top five is Clemson, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, UNC, and Wake Forest," stated Ghee. "Not in any order. Clemson has a good football atmosphere, [and] excellent coaches. Tennessee also has a great football atmosphere, with a long tradition of success. UNC has good academics, [and a] nice campus. Virginia Tech has George Bell and successful defensive backs. Wake has great academics, [and] a family atmosphere."

Like many of his peers, Ghee will now focus on preparing for his senior season. He plans to put his recruitment on hold, and come back to it in September when he figures to map out his official visits schedule.

We will continued to keep you updated on Brandon Ghee, right up through signing day.
