RB James Davis
5-11, 185, 4.45
Douglass High School
"I have it down to around seven schools that I am really going to look strongly at. They are. Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Auburn and LSU", James Davis said.
"Right now, there are three teams that may have a slight edge on the others. My top three are Tennessee, Clemson and Alabama."
What does J.D. like about his top three?
Tennessee: "I like their coaching staff a lot and I had a great time at their camp."
Alabama: "Tradition and they have always had a great program."
Clemson: "Playing time and knowing the Coaches are the main things."
Out of his favorites, what schools has he visited so far?
"I attended camps at Alabama, Tennessee and Clemson. I took an unofficial to Georgia one weekend and hung out with Coach Richt. I also took an unofficial to Georgia Tech a few weeks ago. I have not been to Auburn or LSU yet. I plan to go watch Auburn host LSU on September 20th though. I also plan to go see Georgia host LSU and Georgia Tech this year. I will probably check out a few more, but those are the ones I have set up to this point. That will give me a good chance to see the game day atmosphere at those schools. That could play into my decision."
When can we expect Mr. Davis to commit?
"Probably sometime towards the end of the year. If I am not sure at that time, then I will wait and take my official visits to help me decide."
J.D. is on track to qualify academically.
