"Bernard Rambert will move into the starting tailback position and Chad Jasmin will be his backup for the bowl game. Tore White will be the third running back. We will not burn a red-shirt year on Keith Kelly for a bowl game.
"We have complete confidence in Bernard Rambert, who has done an excellent job this season. He has played the majority of the time in the last two bowl games due to injuries to Travis early in the Peach Bowl against Mississippi State and the Gator Bowl against Virginia Tech. In fact, he had his career rushing high in the Peach Bowl against Mississippi State (70 yards).
"Derrick Brantley will take over Akil Smith's starting position. Derrick has been a starter at times this year and has seen a lot of action. He will do fine job. We will lose the luxury of rotating three tackles. "
