WR Martin Frierson
6-2, 185, 4.47
Irmo High School
Irmo, South Carolina
"I'm looking at Vanderbilt, NC State, Georgia Tech, Clemson, USC, Georgia, Auburn, Maryland, Notre Dame, Wake Forest and I guess that's about it. "Vanderbilt and Notre Dame are the ones that have offered. The others are going to check in around about the third or fourth game."
Frierson is talking to schools already about when he may take an official visit.
"I talked to Clemson earlier and they said they wanted me to take an official there. I know I am going to take one to Notre Dame and maybe Vanderbilt, and Georgia Tech I just talked to and said maybe I could."
As for the offers, several schools are waiting to see improvement early this season before they will send Martin a scholarship.
"Maryland is talking about breakaway speed; they know I have everything else. Everybody else pretty much just wants to see a little more video."
Frierson is working on that speed with camps and practices for the upcoming season.
"We have workouts every day of the week, and we have phase running and I was going to camp. I went to camp at Auburn, Georgia, Clemson, and Miami."
