RB Sadat Chambers
5-11, 190, 4.4
Pageland Central High School
Pageland, South Carolina
A somewhat uneventful summer has allowed Pageland (S.C.) Central running back Sadat Chambers to reflect a bit on his recruitment. The 5-foot-11, 190-pounder who runs a 4.40-second forty-yard dash has only visited two campuses – Clemson and South Carolina – but has decided to develop a soft favorites list.
"I like Clemson and Virginia Tech," remarked Chambers, who claims a Tigers' offer. "Clemson I take a trip down there almost every year. I like the coaches and they have a good atmosphere down there. Virginia Tech has a nice [football] program and they have a good coaching staff, but I don't know too much about them."
Although Chambers might be hoping for his next offer to come from the Hokies, after a solid performance at South Carolina's camp, Chambers believes the odds are stronger that his next FedEx could come from Columbia, SC.
"I think South Carolina [is close to offering]," stated Chambers. "They send me letters and I went to [their] camp and I think I did pretty good down there at camp. I got a chance to talk to Coach [David] Reaves."
Chambers plans to wait until the end of his senior season to make his final decision. However, he figures to take most – if not all – of his official visits during his final campaign.
