Top SC ATH Impresses Saturday Night traveled to Bennettsville to watch Sadat Chambers battle Rendrick Taylor and Marlboro County Saturday night. The Tigers are the only offer for the Palmetto standout, but expect that to change quickly if he continues to play as well as he did Saturday night. Find out what Chambers had to say to after the game in this in-depth Q&A.

RB Sadat Chambers
5-11, 190, 4.4
Pageland Central High School
Pageland, South Carolina

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound speedster did it all for Pageland-Central as he led them to a 12-0 victory over Marlboro County in the season opener for both teams. Chambers was responsible for all of the points as he threw a long touchdown pass (55-yards) and rushed for another. Those in attendance may best remember the talented athlete for his hit on Rendrick Taylor on a crossing pattern.

What did you think about the victory tonight?
Sadat Chambers: I think it's a great victory. For our first game anyway. I know we will take it one game at a time but I think we'll go 15-0 now.

How much preparation does it take to prepare to prepare to play both quarterback and running back?
Sadat Chambers: I love both of them. As long as I'm on the field playing. I just want my team to win, that's all it is. I do everything.

Do you have a preference about which position you'd like to play in college?
Sadat Chambers: I'd say running back at the next level.

Did you enjoy that hit you had on Rendrick Taylor?
Sadat Chambers: Oh yeah. I was waiting for that all night. I was waiting for him to come across the middle. I love that man.

Looks like you enjoy playing defensive back as well.
Sadat Chambers: Oh yeah. I love hitting people.

Have you picked up any additional offers?
Sadat Chambers: No, not anyone except for Clemson.

When do you think you'll make a commitment?
Sadat Chambers: I think it will be after the season.

What are your goals for your senior season at Central?
Sadat Chambers: I just want to play hard every game and hope we come out with a victory. I want to play as hard as I can every play and be a leader for my team.
