Josh Miller couldn't have picked a better game to attend for his first college experience, at least not his mind. "I really enjoyed it. I loved it. It was my first college game," said Miller during an interview with CUTigers.com Monday evening.
The talented athlete was impressed by the 79,000 plus that packed the Valley on Saturday. "I didn't realize there was that much crowd participation. It was loud," said the senior linebacker.
When asked if his commitment to the Tigers is still firm, Miller responded, "Yes, it's firm."
Josh is looking forward to getting his chance to run down the hill next season. "I loved it. I can't wait to do that next year."
The 6-foot-1, 210 pound prospect is also having an outstanding senior season. "We are 2-0 this year. I have not been playing many snaps on defense. The first game this year I had 33 carries for 231 yards and 4 touchdowns. In the second game I had 10 carries for 130 yards and 3 touchdowns," said Miller
Does the talented athlete still want to play defense at the collegiate level? "Yes, I'm still looking forward to playing linebacker."
The Manning High star had a chance to speak with the Tiger coaching staff during his visit this weekend. "It went pretty good. They were excited to see me there. They said they couldn't wait for me to come down there."
"I spoke with a couple of the other recruits. I went into the locker room after the game and got to speak with some of the players."
Miller will be back in Death Valley later this year. "I know I'm coming to see them play again, but I'm not sure which one I'll make it to next," stated the prize recruit.
