Mays High School
Atlanta, Georgia

The 5-11, 180 pound prospect has played both ways this season to lead Mays High School. "I am playing quarterback and defensive back. We are 2-1 on the year. I have 2 interceptions as a defensive back," McElrathbey told CUTigers.com in a recent interview.

The Georgia standout had hoped to travel to Clemson on Saturday for the Wake game, but he will be in the Valley on Saturday as the Tigers battle Tech. "I was suppose to go to Clemson but I couldn't make it. This weekend I am definitely going to see them play Tech."

When asked who his current favorites are, McElrathbey responded, "I'm not sure. I'm kind of lost right now. I think I'm opening things up."

The prize recruit will likely wait until after his senior season to make his decision. "I don't know when I will decide. It will probably be right after the season," said the senior defensive back.

McElrathbey is still talking about a package deal with his talented friend Carlos Thomas. "We both went to the Tech game this weekend. He is favoring Tech right now. The game was okay. I'm not sure if he will come with me this weekend or not."

We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding athlete from Georgia, right up through signing day 2005.
