WR Josh Briscoe
6-3, 175, 4.5
Burns High School
Lawndale, North Carolina

The 6-3, 175 pound prospect will spend the upcoming weekend in Tiger Town. "I'm excited," said Briscoe in a recent interview with CUTigers.com. "I'm coming with my parents and I'm trying to get a player to go with me. I'm going down Friday night after our game. We will be coming back Sunday afternoon."

I watched them play Wake Forest last weekend on television. I want to see that offense up close and personal. I also want to see the facilities."

The prize recruit visited Clemson last spring as well. "I went to the spring game last year but I got there late so I didn't get to tour the facilities or anything," stated Briscoe.

Briscoe is playing both ways for Burns High this season. "We are 1-1 on the season. I have 8 catches for 197 yards so far. I'm also playing corner on defense."

When asked if he has any early favorites, Briscoe responded, "No, not yet."

Don't expect an early decision from the Tarheel standout. "I will take all my visits before I make my commitment."

Briscoe will be looking carefully at the depth charts as he makes his official visits this season. "I want to see how many receivers they have coming back. I will also look at how many they have in each class. I will also look at the quarterback position."

We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding receiver from North Carolina, right up through signing day 2005.
